We are given this life to live it, to experience and appreciate the present moment in it's absolute form! to just be, to go with the flow of life and to experience love. Sounds like a cliche but life is a lot like surfing, like the ocean, the waves come and go, they are sometimes bumpy and choppy, there are sometimes days, weeks maybe months when forecast isn't great and so with life just like surfing we have to learn to be patient, to trust the timing and to enjoy and face what comes with a light heartiness and a serenity.
Waking each morning or just before you go to bed can be the best time to practice meditation. I personally recommend first thing as you are waking up. that surreal time where your subconscious is still active, don't turn on your phone, those first few moments in the morning as the most important time to set your vibration for the day ahead. It doesn't have to be for long, just a few moments to observe and to connect to your breath and to make space to clear the space within. Every day we wake and shower, clean our teeth, wear our fresh clothes. Maintaining a healthy meditation practice is just as important, even more important as the grooming, yet so many people neglect to do so especially in the western world. So why not start to take a few moments to set aside some time for you, to experience your inner space. To start your day in a positive way and to be the best version of yourself.
Starting your day with meditation, journaling, affirmations and reading a few pages of some daily inspiration, then maybe exercise, yoga or a run, surf etc can and will start to change your life. You will become more focused, grounded, centered, organized and have more vitality, when you connect and are in better control of the breath you are in better control of your mind and in turn, your life.
